SM 168 is a Blue Metal Detectable Neoprene rubber sheeting for use with food and drink stuffs.

FDA21 CFR177,2600, EU1935/2004 Approved and USP Class V1 compliant,  Metal Detectable gasket materials are now becoming popular in the food industries as a simple sweep with a metal detecting equipment will pick up any gasket fragments in the food production process. Metal detectable gasket materials are also used in the production of pharmaceuticals worldwide.

N.B. Metroseal Sheeting can be supplied plain or with self adhesive backed tape (SAB). Rubber Strip to bespoke sizes are available along with customised sheets/gaskets. Please email your enquiry details to sales@metroseal.co.uk

The above sheeting is manufactured from top quality virgin materials and ingredients meeting high standard of performance.

The component parts used and maximum levels in compound mixtures are in accordance with FDA [Food & Drug Administration – Department of Health and Human Services] part 177 – indirect food additives section 177.2600 – rubber articles for repeated use.
