Insertion Rubber Sheeting

Insertion rubber sheeting is a rubber sheet manufactured with a core of cotton membrane or polyester membrane, depending on the grade. The fabric insert provides extra strength and tear-resistance, compared with standard commercial quality grades. It also prevents stretching.

The combination of styrene-butadiene rubber and natural rubber, with an encapsulated single-ply cotton reinforcement, makes insertion rubber sheeting stronger than standard commercial quality grades.

Various grades of reinforcement are on offer as standard and we can also provide bespoke strengths to meet customer requirements. It can be supplied by the roll or part roll, cut by our CNC machining technology.

Suitable for numerous applications, including gaskets and seals, insertion rubber sheeting can also be used in applications where extra tear strength is required. Such applications could be, but are not limited to, debris guards on agricultural and horticultural equipment, skirts on the bottom of doors to prevent draughts and water spray, horsebox partitions or other applications where the material needs to be suspended.

Other common applications include worktops, vehicle mud flaps, toolbox tops, counters, car boot mats and gaskets.

Choose from the following options:

Also, we have a full range of multiply-reinforced, traditionally recognised products and belting products that can be used where extreme tear strength, and/or stiffness is required.

Available in a wide range of thicknesses and lengths, in grades to suit your application, our insertion rubber sheeting can also be custom cut to your bespoke design.

A number of grades are CE marked, along with REACH, RoSH and PAH Compliant, so that quality and traceability are assured.
