Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) is more resistant to heat, ozone, and chemicals than standard nitrile rubber. A HNBR rubber sheet is created by introducing hydrogen into the saturation of the nitrile material.
HNBR sheets offer exceptional resistance to substances such as animal and vegetable fats, motor oil, gas, solvents, oxidised fuels, dilute acid and lubricating oil deterioration.
They have a broad range of temperature tolerance, ranging from -30oC to 150oC . Additionally, Hydrogenated nitrile has superior tensile and tear strength, making them ideal for many applications and environments.
Our HNBR rubber sheeting is REACH, RoHS, PAH and CE compliant and is an excellent choice for applications that require resistance to ozone and weathering.
It is commonly used for crafting seals in fuel handling systems, manufacturing accumulator bladders, diaphragms and gaskets. In all of these applications, HNBR sheets prove invaluable due to their resilience and strength.
