The MetroFlex Firing Range/Target Backing Rubber Sheeting is a specially formulated natural rubber. Providing a strong physical strength, it enables the rubber to self heal, withstanding thousands of rounds in a small area.Â
MetroFlex target backing curtain reduces ricochet and back splatter. It is hangs freely along the bullet trap and the bottom is not fixed.
Venetian blind is made of steel and armor steel impact plates that are fixed at a downward angle to direct the bullets to the deceleration chamber. Due to the steel structure, it is necessary to use a safety curtain to prevent all the possible ricochets and back splatter.
Soft Bullet Trap (SBT) is an environmentally friendly design that features in most shooting ranges. It is a combination of rubber lamellas, a rubber target backing and steel plate backing. The rubber lamellas reduce the velocity of the bullets and maintain the bullets shape, leaving a lower impact noise and reduced lead dust. The illustrations below show 2 typical bullet trap designs and the position of the MetroFlex target backing curtains.
