EPR is vulcanised using a peroxide-based cure system, whereas EPDM can use peroxide or sulphur-based systems. This difference is caused by the third monomer present in EPDMs, Diene. When comparing the performance of each rubber, there is no noticeable difference.
With good resistance to heat, strong bases, acid, weather and ozone, our EPR sheeting is widely used in electrical cable insulations, as well as hoses, weatherstripping and many other applications.
Our EPR products are REACH, RoHS, PAH and CE compliant.
